Vice Provost for Academic Innovation

The Vice Provost for Academic Innovation is appointed by and reports to the Provost. In collaboration with Vice Presidents, Deans of the Schools, and other campus leaders, the Vice Provost provides leadership and advocacy for excellence and innovation in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs and academic innovation across the College.

They conduct market research and academic portfolio review to support program development aligned with strategic priorities and external forces. They serve as the Research Integrity Officer and direct the Office of Research, the Office of Sustainability, and the Academic Growth and Innovation Fund. The Vice Provost provides administrative support and strategic leadership to the Graduate and Professional Studies Educational Policies Committee, the Undergraduate Educational Policies Committee, Institutional Review Board, and Committee on Faculty Development of Scholarship. They are responsible for facilitating action plan development for undergraduate and graduate programs upon completion of the program review. The Vice Provost is a member of the Provost’s Council and represents the College on the Lasallian Association of Colleges and Universities steering committee.  They also, oversee Summer Academy and external speakers for undergraduate classes.  Through the CFDS, and oversee sabbatical and Provost’s Research Grant proposals. They supervise the Associate Vice Provost for Signature Programs. The Associate Vice Provost, oversees January Term, Seminar, the Seminar Enrichment Series, the Honors Program, and Engaged Learning.  

Academic Growth Innovation Fund

We are extending the AGIF proposal submission date to December 16
 
Additionally it is anticipated that the Spring request for proposals will be due by April 14, 2025.
 
The proposal template, as well as some supporting datasets and resources. It is not at all required that submissions cite these external datasets; you might be able to rely on your own internal program information. Submitted proposals will receive decisions by late January.
