Please note: We have a rolling admissions process, which means we review complete applications and make admissions decisions as applications are received.

Application Requirements

Successful applicants will have met the following criteria:

  • A baccalaureate degree in any major from a institution of higher education
  • Proof of meeting  - common options include:
    • Proof of passing  (California Subject Examinations for Teachers) in subject area
    • Qualifying bachelors degree
    • Documentation of completing an undergraduate Commission approved Subject Matter Preparation Program (SMPP)
  • from the CTC
  • Results of a tuberculin test (within the last two years)
  • Evidence of health insurance or a signed waiver

  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
  • Personal statement
  • Resume
  • Preferred contact information for three references
  • Proof of meeting or registration for

  • Results of a tuberculin test (current within two years)
