Transfer Student Orientation
Welcome to the Gael Family!
We're so excited to welcome you to the SMC community. As a transfer student, you'll bring unique experiences that enrich our campus and classrooms. Our Transfer Student Orientation is packed with activities to ensure a smooth transition to SMC, including a campus tour, academic advising, resource introductions, and interactive sessions. You'll meet new classmates and friends, and connect with faculty. Don't forget to register—you can even bring up to two guests, as we have special programs for them too. We can’t wait to see you there!
Orientation Dates & Times
Registration
All new transfer students need to register for orientation. Each student is allowed to bring two guests to orientation; we have a program just for them!
A one-time charge of $300 for orientation will be applied directly to a student's account and covers all costs associated with orientation, administrative costs, materials, and staffing.
