Transcript Requests from Saint Mary's College of California

If you completed transfer work at another institution and would like to have your work added to your Saint Mary's College of California record, please contact the institution for an official transcript to be sent to us (info below). We accept both electronic and mailed, sealed official transcripts directly from the institution.

The Office of the Registrar offers transcript ordering in person at the Office of the Registrar or online through the National Student Clearinghouse. The Office of the Registrar strongly recommends placing your request(s) through the National Student Clearinghouse  and select the electronic transcript option if the recipient allows for it. While we will process any transcripts that need to be physically mailed, the processing time for transcripts is the next business day, and if physically shipping, the general ship time of your destination through USPS.

Saint Mary's College of California has authorized the to provide transcript ordering online. Order updates will be emailed or text messaged to you. You can also check order status or history online. To order an official transcript, login to the . To search our college, enter "Saint Mary's College of California" (if you enter 'St.' our college will not be located through the search). The site will walk you through the order process, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session.

Saint Mary's offers paper transcript request forms that can be picked up in person at the Office of the Registrar. The request forms DO NOT include an electronic option and must be paid with the business office before processing.

Unofficial transcripts are available only to current and actively enrolled Saint Mary's College of California students through the GaelXpress self-service platform. If you currently have an active SMC login, please download your unofficial transcripts on  from the Academics side menu option.

The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized unit designed to provide a record of an individual's continuing education and/or professional growth accomplishments.

  • Ten hours of instruction equals one unit.
  • The cost for up to one (1) Continuing Education Unit is $150.00 for 2024-2025
  • CEU courses do not carry academic credit.
  • Saint Mary's College does not issue transcripts for Continuing Education Courses.
  • CEUs are not designed to be used towards attainment of an advanced degree.
  • Every school district has their own policy regarding the acceptance and transfer of CEUs.
  • No refunds

If interested in receiving Continuing Education Units, please fill out the top portion of the CEU registration form provided by the professional development course instructor and mail it with your payment (check, money order or cashier check) made out to Saint Mary's College:

After receipt of the CEU registration form and fee payment, a certificate will be mailed to the address on your form.

Deadline for submitting the registration form is 6 months after the course completion date. Please allow 60 days for processing.
