INVEST IN THE CAMPUS AND WELCOME INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDIENCES
Saint Mary’s will develop accessible, flexible, and creative spaces, including spaces that can function as innovative classrooms, meeting spaces, performance centers, and recreational spaces. We will utilize welcoming campus spaces to increase connectedness and inclusivity of our campus community and enhance the sense of belonging of members of our campus community and improve the student experience. We will nurture opportunities to increase the accessibility of campus to the broader community and draw visitors to campus to enhance the vibrancy of campus and create opportunities to attract new revenues.

2021-2024 Accomplishments
Facilities for students have been updated in the past few years. We made a series of renovations on campus dormitories, including Siena Hall (2021), Mitty Hall (2022), and Becket and More (2023); UCU Pavilion addition and renovation includes a men's basketball locker room (2022), Vieira Courtyard (2023), Kenny Pub (2023); Madel ACA & Accessibility improvements to Syufy Hall (2022), Claeys North Hall (2022), Chapel plaza (2022), and Sabatte Hall (2023). A $2.5M Emergency Generator to power campus in case of unexpected power outage was installed (2021).
While these physical plants are upgraded, we have also been working on campus digitization, and the work is scheduled to complete Fall 2024. Student Life is working on extending opportunities to host local high school athletic competitions in our recreational facilities.
