Master of Arts in Teaching has a Summer Term start. Applications are accepted year round, however priority deadlines must be met to be considered for scholarships.

 

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Requirements 

  1. Review Application Requirements and Gather Application Materials
    The Master of Arts in Teaching program requires the following for admission:
    + A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
    + One official copy of transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
    + Three letters of recommendation from professionals who can evaluate your potential to carry out graduate work
    + Statement of professional goals and resume included with your application
    + Live in a state eligible for distance education for Saint Mary's College (Check your eligibility
    + Evidence of health insurance or a signed waiver
    + Application and fee
     
  2. Submit your Application
    + Email your unofficial transcripts and current resume to the KSOE Admission team.
    + Complete the online application for the Master of Arts in Teaching program
    + Upload your official transcripts and application materials
    **If you have an international transcript, the Registrar’s Office will ask you to have a professional agency evaluate your units. Please find a professional agency and request from them a per course breakdown with the course name and equivalent number of units. The agency will send a copy of your official international transcript and the evaluation of your units to Saint Mary’s College. Once this is done, we can add the evaluation to your application.
     
  3. Next Steps
    + Receive your admissions letter
    + Accept your offer and pay your deposit
    + Receive your MySMC account and activate with your password
    + Begin your classes!

Foreign transcripts and International students

Individuals who have completed college or university course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts, degrees, and other relevant documents by one of the approved  for admittance into the program. International students have additional admission requirements.
