The Yellow Tulip Project is a student-driven program dedicated to stigma reduction of mental health challenges and community building to help people know that there is help and hope out there. Mental illness affects over 450 million people worldwide and the message of Hope resonates across the political, religious, cultural economic spectrum.
We invite the SMC community to come out and help us plant 500 tulip bulbs in our Hope Garden. Between 11:30-12:30 we also have groups from across campus including the IC, Legacy Garden, CAPS and SDS tabling. There will be snack and rock painting stations as well!
This program is made possible by the Student Enhancement Fee and is co-sponsored by Student Disability Services, CAPS, InterCultral Center and Sustainability/Legacy Garden
