CASE OF THE FLAWED HERO AND VILLAIN
In this five part series, we will explore and discuss the complexity and nuances of well-known "anti-hero" characters. We will focus on characters like Tony Soprano (The Sopranos), Tommy Shelby (Peaky Blinders), and Walter White (Breaking Bad) through the lens of mental health, identity, societal expectations, and subversion. Each session will be one hour and will focus on a different character. Light snacks will be provided.
January 14, 3:30-4:30PM: Tony Soprano (The Sopranos)
January 16, 3:30-4:30PM: Walter White (Breaking Bad)
January 21, 3:30-4:30 PM: Franklin Saint (Snowfall)
January 23, 3:30-4:30PM: Thomas Shelby (Peaky Blinders)
January 24, 3:30-4:30PM: Jackson "Jax" Teller (Sons of Anarchy)
