Marie Curie STEM Center
The Marie Curie STEM Center of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ supports the success of all students in STEM classes by providing tutoring and workshops designed to foster study skills, problem solving, independence, and scientific identity, while building a supportive, collaborative, diverse, and equitable community of STEM learners.
The Marie Curie STEM (Science Tech Engineering and Math) Center welcomes students to drop in for tutoring.
No appointments are necessary. The Center is located on the second floor of Assumption Hall.
Important Notice: The Marie Curie STEM Center Will Have Shorten Tutoring hours ( 5pm to 8pm) Monday 12/2 through Thursday 12/5, and the Marie Curie STEM center will be closed during Finals Week 12/9 through 12/15.

Tutoring Schedule
Drop-in, small-group tutoring is available Monday-Thursday 1-8 PM; Sunday 6-8 PM. Check the tabs below for subject-specific tutoring times. No appointments are necessary.
Additional Resources
We will be offering weekly study groups, facilitated by a STEM Center tutor. Students should come with questions, practice problems, and topics that they wish to practice as a group, and the tutor will be available to help. Tutors will NOT be presenting material. Study Groups will begin meeting on Tues 9/3.

We have a variety of iPads, PC laptops, and calculators available for checkout short-term or long-term. These are a better option than borrowing from ITS or the library if you need to install specific software for classes. Please email Magaly at ma19@stmarys-ca.edu to request a loan.

TutorMe (Online Tutoring)

Every student has access to 24/7 support in any of their undergraduate or graduate courses. TutorMe is an online application available to students through their MySMC Portal or Moodle. Tutoring is convenient, accessible, and available at any time for Saint Mary's students
TutorMe supports over 300 undergraduate and graduate/professional level courses that will connect you with a trained tutor in a virtual space (with audio/video capabilities, whiteboard, file sharing, and accessible modalities, including screen reading, high contrast mode and ASL) in less than 30 seconds. TutorMe will supplement Saint Mary’s on campus peer to peer tutoring services (STEM tutors, TASC, and CWAC). All services are included in tuition.
TutorMe also has launched a Writing Lab. Students can upload a paper and request specific areas to be reviewed in a timely manner.
